CHILEAN DRAFT LAW THAT MODIFIES THE SANITARY CODE

As part of our collaborative efforts to influence the development and improvement of technical regulations for medical devices, the Coalition prepared along with AdvaMed, ADIMECH and APIS, the position paper regarding the potential impact of the implementation of the proposed changes in the Draft Law. A downloadable version in English in pdf format is available here.

As per the imminent approval of an updated version of the above-mentioned regulation, the National Agency of Medical Devices, Innovation and Technology (ANDID) is required to develop the regulation to operationalize.

The Coalition, as part of its continuous work to support regulators in the region in their convergence efforts, prepared a Position on Good Regulatory Practices, including the most relevant International Trade Obligations and Health References, to assist ANDID in the process.
